Annulments within the Catholic Church
After a divorce, most people don’t want to think about going through an annulment in the Catholic Church. If you have the intention of dating and possibly remarrying in the Catholic faith, you will need an annulment. Or if you are in one of the following situations: a divorced non-Catholic who wants to marry a Catholic, a spouse of a Catholic who was previously married, or if you are a divorced Catholic and have remarried outside of the Catholic Church and want to return to the sacraments. Whatever your reason for seeking an annulment the Church is ready and willing to help. Let us remove the stress and make this process easier for you. An annulment is a declaration by a Church tribunal (a Catholic church court) stating that a marriage thought to be valid according to Church law actually fell short, of at least one of the essential elements required for a binding union. If you are need of help or have questions you want answered, please call Judy Hess Pompei at 419-589-3585 or 419-566-7335
