ATTENTION, ALL PRESENT AND PROSPECTIVE EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION (EMHCs):
Please mark your calendars. Every two years, the Diocese requires present EMHCs to have a renewal experience in order for them to receive permission from the Bishop to continue to exercise this distinctive ministry.
Identical training/renewal sessions for prospective and present EMHCs are to be held at Resurrection Parish as follows: on Thurs., March 16th, starting at 7:00 p.m. and on Sun., March 19th, starting at 9:45 a.m. Please return the form received in the mail or call the parish office indicating which session you plan to attend.
Both sessions are to be held in church. By attending either of these identical sessions, prospective EMHCs will receive the training that is needed for them to exercise this distinctive ministry. By coming to either of these sessions, present EMHCs will meet the Diocesan requirement of having renewal in order to receive the needed permission to continue to exercise this ministry.
All Resurrection Parish EMHCs are to be commissioned or re-commissioned on the weekend of April 22nd & 23rd within Mass.
