Beginning with the month of September, we are going to try a new schedule for daily Masses.
Tuesday: 5:30pm at St. Mary of the Snows
Wednesday: 9am at Resurrection
Thursday: 5:30 at Resurrection
Friday: 9am at St. Mary of the Snows
I recognize that this does not satisfy everyone, but there are some reasons for this schedule. Firstly, I am off on Mondays, which means there are four days in which I'll have daily Mass. Therefore, it's only fair to have two daily Masses at each parish. Secondly, I thought it might be good to offer Mass in the evening. While that time may not be best for all, it matches the time St. Peter's offers Mass in the evening during the week. Additionally, the days for evening Masses matches the days most meetings at each respective parish occur. Lastly, I will be at the parish where Mass is for most of that day, meaning if you want to find me during the week, wherever Mass is offered should normally indicate where I am. We will try this schedule for some time and then evaluate to determine if any changes need to be made. Weekend Masses remain the same:
Saturday:
4pm at St. Mary of the Snows
6pm at Resurrection
Sunday:
9am at Resurrection
11am at St. Mary of the Snows
Beginning in September, there will be slight change to the schedule for Confessions:
Saturday: 3-3:45pm at St. Mary of the Snows
Sunday: 8-8:45am at Resurrection
Again, we will try this schedule and will evaluate. Perhaps in the future an additional time for Confession may be added. Have a great week!
